Hello my lovelies! It's been far too long since I last posted a Blog, and Video for that matter. I just wanted to let you all know what has been going on & to let you know that new posts are on the way!
JCC @ 160CC
So back in August I took a leap and became a self-employed Hair Stylist, constantly putting myself through courses on the latest techniques & products in the industry. As I've been pouring all my time & energy into this new venture, I've been neglecting The Blog & The Youtube Page, so as of next week expect a lot more content!
You can see work I've been doing on my Facebook Page or by clicking here! You can also make an appointment or enquire about a service via my Facebook Page.
YOUTUBE & BLOGS
As I've already mentioned there is a lot of new content on the way so I can settle back into my routine! Though I'm still very into Make-Up & still developing my own cosmetics, I'll be focusing on different interests as well as Beauty, such as Hair, Lifestyle Blogs, and DIY Youtube Videos. I feel it's going to make the process a lot more enjoyable and hopefully create some whacky, hilarious video's at the same time!
That is all for the little update.
Thank you all for reading, again I'm sorry for my sudden disappearance from the internet.
See you next week!
So I recently attended a Make-Up Designory (MUD) Workshop, if you haven't heard already MUD is a high end, strictly professional Make-up Brand used in Movies, TV & Theatrical productions (as well as other Professionally trained MUA's). As i'm currently learning & progressing I thought it would be good to dive more into various products and take a few courses! Cream based products are something I'd normally avoid as I use mainly liquid. So it was great to learn a few tips & tricks from another talented artist.
CREAM BASED FOUNDATIONS
With these foundations, a little goes a very long way, and I'm definitely struggling to adjust to using less.. I've found using a flat foundation brush has definitely been the best method for a radiant, natural finish, as my usual stippling brush just gives a clumpy, streaky effect (it was worse than it sounds). For a flawless, matte finish just head back in after using your flat brush with a damp Beauty Blender and apply a second layer. I've found it brilliant using the various foundation shades in a palette and mixing the shades to get my exact skin tone. (I know it sounds lazy but, hooray for less blending!)
So much more on the way before I start offering Make-Up services in the Salon, though when I do
I'll be using a using a selection of MUD & various other products.

Let me start this post off by saying how ashamed & sick I feel about the amount of money I spent on this product. If you didn't know already, I love trying new things, shopping for make-up and especially skin care products. I had seen a lot of Youtubers' trying out this Bobbi Brown: Vitamin Enriched Face Base and really had to pick it up,
This moisturiser comes in a 50ml Jar retailing at £40. Although I'm ashamed of spending so much money on this a little goes a very long way. I've literally been taking the bare minimum from the plastic cover inside and it glides onto the skin like butter. This product contains Vitamins B, C & E along with the additional moisturising power provided by the Shea butter. It also has the most uplifting smell of what I can only describe as a tropical orange.
Although it is a little pricey, it has been leaving my skin looking, feeling & even smelling perfect. I'm loving it!
Let me know your thoughts on this! If you haven't picked
it up I'd say DO IT! If nothing else for the SMELL!

Hey everyone, welcome back, can you believe we're in July already? It's going to be Christmas before we know it. This month I definitely made up for the lack of Shopping I done last month, but have managed to pick out 4 items from the list that are fairly new but I'm loving already!
CHARCOAL FACIAL SCRUB
Recently I've really been putting a lot of effort into my Skin Care routine, always trying new things to see which works best. At the moment I am completely in love with this 'Daily, Activated Charcoal Facial Scrub'. The activated Charcoal in this product is what grabs & locks onto the dirt, allowing it to be easily removed from your pores. I've been a huge fan of activated charcoal in teeth whitening and find it easy to belive that is the reason this product works so well!
MORPHE 350S PALETTE
Though I've never used any of Morphe's cosmetics before I had seen several swatches, looks and videos which led me to try out some of their eyeshadow palettes. On their website I seen these two absolutely gorgeous palettes in a Limited Edition bundle for only £33.96. The Morphe 350S palette has 35 gorgeous shades from peaches, golds, coppers to gorgeous sparkling brunette colours. You can really create the perfect, glamorous smokey eye or add the drama and take these extreme glitter shadows to the next level.

MAKE-UP BRUSH CLEANSING SPRAY
I've already told you all about this product but it really is worth a mention in my Favourites for the month! Everything has been crazy this month, there is so much going on and I've really had no time to thoroughly cleanse my brushes every week. Instead, I've been using this cleanser on my face brushes every night and has kept them feeling & looking fabulous.
MORPHE 350M PALETTE
The twin sister of the 350S Palette, this contains all 35 Shades from the 350S Palette however they are all completely matte. Again, the collection of colours are absolutely gorgeous and as I've been loving the colour Khaki in clothing recently, these red/copper/brown tones go perfectly with any everyday Khaki outfit.

That is all for my June Monthly Favourites!
There are a few Morphe Palette Reviews & Swatches on the way to look out for those.
Thanks for reading.
See you in 2 weeks,
I've been really lacking when it comes to shopping recently, so I decided after work one day I'd take myself around the shops. Low & behold I discovered Makeup Brush Cleansing Spray from 'Brush Techniques', I know I'm not the only person who dreads cleaning my brush collection and was eager to test out this 'quick & easy' method.
So I have used a few high end brush cleaners but have never found anything better than using Matrix Total Results Amplify Shampoo. This leaves the brushes extremely clean and soft to the touch. How-ev-er, this normally takes from 30 to 45 minutes, which is where this product comes in. This product is intended for weekly use on natural and synthetic make-up brushes, to use dampen the bristles on your brush with warm water, spray the Cleansing Spray directly into the bristles, then simply massage into a clean old towel or paper towel to remove excess makeup.
Although the intended instructions did work, i found it much better to leave the spray to soak in the bristles for 20 seconds, the massage through and rise under warm water. I managed to get around 30 brushes immaculate in 10 minutes!
Now wait for the best part, the price of this spray...£1. I am obsessed. I've considered fancy gadgets, i've probably spent around £150 testing out various high end cleansers and this £1 spray has been the best yet. For all you make-up addicts, I cannot recommend this enough!
I doubt it's possible, but if any of you know a product that can clean 30 brushes in 5 minutes or less, definitely let me know! I'm always hunting for some good brush cleaning tips.
I also wanted to let you know that I will now be posting Blogs every other Sunday but will still post weekly Video's.
Thanks for reading everyone.
