This week I've got something a little different than usual, as I've been so busy recently I've barely had time to go Make-up shopping. But with the seasons changing I always feel it's that time of year to take a little bit extra care and leave yourself feeling great, so I thought I'd share my 'Top 3 Therapeutic/Replenishing products'.
MACADAMIA OIL EXTRACT BODY BUTTER
With the change in the weather my skin becomes a lot more dry this time of year, so I picked up this Body Butter and it's £1.99 price tag, led me to believe it was going to be an extremely mediocre 'dupe' of a product, but I am now absolutely obsessed. This Body Butter is blended with loads of moisturising agents such as Macadamia oil, Vitamin E and Shea Butter, leaving your skin smooth, soft and replenished (it also smells amazing!). I've had this for 3 weeks now and still have loads left, but for the low price it cost, I'll most likely be stocking up for the year next time I buy it.
BED HEAD URBAN ANTIDOTES 'RESSURRECTION HAIR MASK'
Throughout this year I have been constantly bleaching and curling my hair, before eventually failing to maintain the root re-growth and dying the whole lot Black again, it has definitely been abused and as I have been using straighteners or a curling wand most days, it was in serious need of an hair intervention. On my monthly trip to Salon Services I picked up this Hair Mask as they did not have my regular one is stock and only cost about £7. Every other time I wash my hair, I now use this product. I have been recommending it to clients and using it after colouring appointments as a sample, this has seriously revamped my dry, dull, life-less hair, I'm so pleased that I picked this up and only wish I had done it sooner. I would definitely recommend this to people who bleach their hair a lot, or use a lot of heat on their hair. Excellent value for money, and definitely a new favourite.
MATRIX 'SILK WONDER' SMOOTHING OIL
Matrix is a company I order from a lot, their prices are very affordable, you get brilliant quality and they are constantly learning new ways to make you and your hair look and feel brilliant. Something I've been using on my clients since I first started training as a Hair Stylist was this Matrix Smoothing Oil though I never used it very much on myself. Though recently as I mentioned I've had a lot of damage to my hair leaving it extremely dry and unmanageable, so as part of a daily routine I would apply this to my hair whilst damp and/or occasionally after it had been dried and styled, this smooth's the hair, restores shine with concentrated Olive oil and controls frizz with 24 hour humidity resistance. I've had this bottle for roughly 4 months and still have plenty to use as you only need a little drop to run through the ends of your hair, with a recommended retail price of £11 it's a really reasonable investment.
If there are any great replenishing products you think I should know about tell me below.
As always thank you for reading, I'll see you next week.
