Hey everyone, this weeks blog coincides with this weeks Video which is a Shimmery/Smokey Eyeshadow Tutorial. To get this look I used mainly all Makeup Revolution products, which is something I've never used before so thought I'd share my first impressions and do some Palette swatches for you. ![]() MAKE BELIEVE PALETTE The 'Make Believe' Eyeshadow & Brow palette by Makeup Revolution is full of Neon & more Natural colours. I think this palette is great in comparison to various other Drug Store eyeshadows, though their products are not 'jammed packed' with pigment, there is definitely a good amount in there and is easy to build up the colour coverage. For this tutorial we steered away from the NEONS and focused on Shimmery/Autumn colours, but will definitely be playing around with the Pinks & Blues sometime soon! ![]() BOURJOIS EYESHADOW This small little eyeshadow pot is so affordable and one of my favourites. Though it is not full of 'White Pigment' as you would hope, it is definitely packed full of Glittery, Shimmery goodness and I'm constantly using this to highlight the inner corners of my eyes over the top of a white eyeshadow to give that Glamorous, Glowing finish. ![]() PURE PIGMENTS If you haven't realised by now, I'm a huge fan of Glitter & Shimmer, so what better product to add to a Smokey eye than Pure Glitter. For the 'Smokey Eye Tutorial' I went in with the shade 'Grandeur' in Makeup Revolution's Pure Pigments, this is an extremely Glowy Deep brown with specs of silver & gold pigments, giving you that beautiful pearl finish. I simply applied this using a damp lip brush to the outer corner of my eyes then blended into the dark eyeshadow using a fluffy eyeshadow brush. Pure Pigments are brilliant & extremely affordable, definitely recommend. I'm so sorry again for being late this week, still figuring out the new editing software,
