So I recently attended a Make-Up Designory (MUD) Workshop, if you haven't heard already MUD is a high end, strictly professional Make-up Brand used in Movies, TV & Theatrical productions (as well as other Professionally trained MUA's). As i'm currently learning & progressing I thought it would be good to dive more into various products and take a few courses! Cream based products are something I'd normally avoid as I use mainly liquid. So it was great to learn a few tips & tricks from another talented artist.
CREAM BASED FOUNDATIONS
With these foundations, a little goes a very long way, and I'm definitely struggling to adjust to using less.. I've found using a flat foundation brush has definitely been the best method for a radiant, natural finish, as my usual stippling brush just gives a clumpy, streaky effect (it was worse than it sounds). For a flawless, matte finish just head back in after using your flat brush with a damp Beauty Blender and apply a second layer. I've found it brilliant using the various foundation shades in a palette and mixing the shades to get my exact skin tone. (I know it sounds lazy but, hooray for less blending!)
So much more on the way before I start offering Make-Up services in the Salon, though when I do
I'll be using a using a selection of MUD & various other products.
Thanks for Reading,
See you in 2 weeks!
