Okay, I know we all have that special product we love & would never swap it for anything else. Though routine is great sometimes I need to urge myself to try new things but always come running back to the same thing in the end. I thought this week I'd put together some of the things I grab every morning before I start the day. So here are My (Current) Everyday Essentials! ![]() MAC STUDIO WATER-WEIGHT FOUNDATION I only discovered this at the end of last year, I can't even explain how much I obsess over this. I literally ordered 2 more bottles after 2 /3 weeks of using it. It's extremely light weight, gives you medium to full coverage and blends seamlessly. I recently switched to an Estée Lauder foundation and was extremely dissapointed in the coverage it gave. In the end, I just got out the MAC Water-Weight and all was well. If you've been here before (or have seen any of my Video's) it probably goes without saying that Witch Hazel is my next everyday essential, i'll keep it short & sweet because I could (and have) rambled about this for pages & pages. But before I do anything, every morning I use a cotton pad to cleanse my whole face with Witch Hazel, some people have also asked 'How much is too much?' well I practically bathe in this every morning & it leaves me looking fresh, feeling bright whilst also creating the perfect base for my makeup. ![]() MAC LIGHTSCAPADE Of course, the one & only. I am a Self-confessed Highlighter Addict, I'm sure I'm not the only one. Out of everything I've used, hoarded, tried and swatched, the original, MAC Lightscapade always steals the show. The light creamy, pearlescent coulours are displayed perfectly together in the pan & once mixed & applied with my (Everyday Essential) Fan Brush, it makes you glow like a God. Another product I'm just in love with, my partner in crime, the MUA Eyebrow Pencil in 'Brunette'. This was the first Brow pencil I ever used & have never found anything more perfect. These are highly pigmented and literally don't move around on your face, the only pencil that lets me create a sharp, defined brow. ![]() MAC STUDIO FIX The best way to keep your face in shape & looking flawless 72 hours straight?! MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation is the answer. I've used this to set my foundation since I was 14 years old, even in the Rimmell Days I would set my face with MAC as it adds extra coverage whilst taking away the oily shine of the foundation. It comes with a compact mirror & sponge to touch up your T-Zone throughout the day. On lazy days I have also used this all over the face as a light Foundation. So these are my FAVOURITE everyday essentials,
Let me know some of yours in the comments below and I might actually like it better than one of these. Thanks for reading. See you next Sunday, Jordan x

Thanks for Reading.
See you next Sunday, Jordan x Puriskin is an emerging, natural British brand by Vanessa Blake Cosmetics, they have been selected by Birchbox UK for their May Beauty Box, showcasing their leading products 'Puriskin Re-Surfacing Cream' & 'Puriskin Resurfacing Formula'. They were kind enough to send me some sample to try out for you guys so lets get to it. ![]() Puriskin is designed for Normal to Dry skin, providing rapid lasing hydration with the use of it's powerful moisturiser, vitamin B5 & soothing chamomile as the active botanical ingredient. The Resurfacing cream retails at £13.99 and has proved to be an excellent moisturiser before bed, though as my skin can get a little oily I've been using this every other night for a week and has me completely sold. My skin looks younger, feels younger & is SO smooth! This has also been excellent as a hand moisturiser, because I'm a hairdresser my hands tend to get extremely dry and can sometimes split, but since using this product, they have felt better than ever! ![]() Puriskin's Resurfacing Formula has many benefits & customers have been raving about this product, and I can see why, this product can help with: Acne Scars Age Spots Blemishes Bruises Burns Cracks Dermatitis Keloid Scars Razor Bumps Split Skin Stretch Marks & Surgical Scars This brand is in support of BosomBuddies Breast Cancer Charity & is Ethically Made, suitable for Vegetarians, Paraben Free & not tested on Animals.
I can't wait for the full-sized product to arrive, if you're already a Birchbox member you will have a chance to sample and purchase these face & body refining products. >>> For your free Puriskin Trial visit www.birchbox.co.uk <<< Or to purchase your Full Size Puriskin Product, visit www.birchbox.co.uk/shop Thank you all for reading, See you next Sunday, Jordan x I know we're halfway through May already, but I've finally got round to posting my April Favourites! Throughout the month I discovered a lot of products I hadn't really been using as well as a few new favourites, so let's just jump right in shall we? ![]() MAKE-UP GALLERY SPONGE Most of you already know by now that my Beauty Blender had an unfortunate accident during whilst being cleaned, resulting in me losing it (I know, it was a difficult time). So I went to find something to replace it as soon as I could & discovered this little 'Sponge on a Stick' for £1. I thought it looks cheap, it is cheap, it might not even last a day. However this little guy has been blending away my concealer all month long. Once damp this is a great dupe for the Beauty Blender, especially if it's your first make-up sponge, it would make a great 'training tool'. ![]() THAT GIRLS SMOKIN' EYE PALETTE This is something I've had for a few months & wasn't too sure about it for the first few weeks, though low and behold it has been my side-kick for the ENTIRE month of April. From gorgeous everyday, Summer Vibes to Beautiful Smokey Night looks, this palette has something for everyone (though if Shimmer is not your friend, I wouldn't recommend)! Some days I even just use the white to highlight my eye for a more awake, radiant look. ![]() WITCH HAZEL I know I talk about this more than anything else in the world, but it has saved my life this year. I've talked a lot about the breakout I was having and was one of the worst I've ever had in my life, so I decided to pick up this little bottle more than my average routine which is twice a day. As my skin has been so oily which I believe to be the root of my breakout, I've used this 4-5 times a day when not wearing make-up to cleanse, tone & absorb the excess oils & it has worked, absolute wonders! Though I must stress, I don't recommend using this excessively, especially if you have dry skin. ![]() SOAP & GLORY SUPERCAT LINER I picked this product up at the start of April when I ran out of my Kat Von D liner & it's safe to say I'm obsessed. Grudging Sephora's shipping charges, I grabbed this product and works as a brilliant dupe. This is an extremely opaque liner with a very quick dry time, it takes about 10-15 seconds for it to settle, but what I loved most about this is the tip of the pen. The tip is very sturdy but versatile, it can be moved in various ways for different angles & looks but always springs back to the way it was when you bought it! ![]() JEFFREE STAR VELOUR LIQUID LIP SHADE '714' Another product I've had for a while which I also mentioned I wasn't very keen on when I got it, due to experiencing poor coverage. Though at the start of the month I exfoliated my lips, lined them, highlighted, applied this Lipstick then blended a little with another shade from this brand, 'Drug Lord'. My verdict? I'm obsessed. Completely in love with this lipstick, there are so many looks you can achieve but no matter what you do, it looks Neon, Crisp & Dramatic. This is not your average 'Cotton Candy' Lipstick! That's it for this months favourites! What have you been loving throughout April & is it anything I should be trying out?
Thank you Guys for reading, and before you head off would you please take a quick minute to vote on my Poll on the Home Page or at the top of the Blog Page. Thanks again. See you next Sunday, Jordan x Thank You Jenny, from Born To Blend for tagging me to do 'My Make-Up Story', you guys can also check out her post by clicking here. I've always been obsessed with make-up and have been absolutely crying laughing at some of my first attempts at applying it. Practice most definitely makes perfect. How old were you when you started wearing makeup? I picked up my first eyeliner when I was about 9/10 but as I got older I started experimenting with the various other products my Mum had in her make-up bag but soon got bored with the limited selection. So I'd save my money and would start hauling every beauty product I could find by age 14. ![]() How did you get into makeup? Make-up really gave me a lot of confidence which is what led it to becoming part of my daily routine, but after discovering amazingly talented Make-up artists such as Kandee Johnson, Lauren Luke & various others on YouTube, learning their techniques then putting them into practice, became such a fun, creative outlet. What are some of your favourite brands? I will use anything that works, but my top 6 would be MAC, Revlon, Dior, Rimmell, Urban Decay and not forgetting BarryM (we do love our Lip Paints). ![]() What does makeup mean to you? Makeup is my passion! You can create anything, you're face is a blank canvas that you can create anything with! From jaw defining contouring to an extreme prosthetic make-over, the possibilities are literally becoming endless. (For incredible prosthetic tutorials, click HERE!) If you could only wear 4 products on your face, what would they be? Brows are a must! Foundation, Lipstick and of course, Highlighter. ![]() What's your favourite thing about makeup? The way it can lift your mood. If you feel a bit poop and don't really feel like going out, it's amazing the amount of confidence a bit of Lipstick & Mascara will give you. Say what you will, it works. (Photo Credit: TMD Design Shop) What do you think about drugstore makeup VS. high end makeup? I love both, if a product does what I need it to do, then I'll use it, regardless of the brand's popularity. I still keep a lot of favourites from my 'teen years' in my collection, mainly the Rimmell Lipsticks (don't worry, the dream matte mousse is gone!). What is one tip of advice you would give to a beginner? Be Bold & you can never blend too much! ![]() What is one makeup trend that you've never understood? When people use table spoons as eyebrow stencils. How does that even work? I've not tried it myself as I actually use my cutlery to eat with, but let me know in the comments if you've tried this :-) What do you think about the beauty community on YouTube? I think it's essential! It's an incredible platform to learn from, chat to others who are in the same boat as you and reach out to more advanced artists for some of their top tips. Thanks again for the tag, this was such a fun post to do! I tag ALL of you to do this as well.
